DMCA Copyright Infringement Notice

1. Overview

Lovai respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users to do the same. If you believe that content hosted on lovai.app infringes your copyright, you may submit a takedown notice under the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. §512) or Japan's Copyright Act (Chosaku-ken-hō). Lovai will review compliant notices and, where appropriate, remove or disable access to the identified material.

2. Required information

A valid DMCA notice must include all of the following:

1. Your full legal name and contact information (address, email, and optionally phone).
2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (or a representative list, for multiple works).
3. Identification of the infringing material: the exact URL on lovai.app (e.g. https://lovai.app/listing/example-slug).
4. Good faith statement: "I have a good faith belief that the use of the material identified above is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law."
5. Accuracy statement under penalty of perjury: "I swear, under penalty of perjury, that the information in this notification is accurate, and that I am the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed."
6. Electronic signature (typing your full legal name in the signature field satisfies this requirement).

3. For Japanese copyright holders

Complaints brought under Japan's Copyright Act (著作権法) are accepted through the same form. Please note the copyright work, the infringing URL, and attestation to good faith and accuracy. The 6-item checklist above mirrors the requirements of the Provider Liability Limitation Act (プロバイダ責任制限法) for expedited review.

4. Where to send

Submit your DMCA notice using the form below, or email support@lovai.app with subject line [DMCA]. Lovai acknowledges notices within 24–48 hours and acts on compliant notices typically within 5 business days.

5. Counter-notification

If your content has been removed in response to a DMCA notice you believe to be mistaken or improper, you may submit a counter-notice under 17 U.S.C. §512(g) by emailing support@lovai.app with the subject line [DMCA Counter-Notice]. Your counter-notice must include consent to the jurisdiction of a US federal district court (or your local district court if outside the US) and the statutory attestation under penalty of perjury.

6. Repeat infringer policy

Lovai terminates, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers as required by 17 U.S.C. §512(i).
